The Jesuit Student Success Network (JSSN) recognizes excellence within our community through a series of annual awards. These honors celebrate the transformative impact of leaders, programs, and service initiatives that embody Ignatian values and promote student success across Jesuit higher education.
The Magis Award for Excellence in Leadership
The Magis Award for Excellence in Leadership recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional vision, integrity, and commitment to student success within a Jesuit context. This award honors leaders who inspire others through their dedication to Ignatian values, fostering environments where students are empowered to excel academically and grow personally. Recipients of this award are acknowledged for their transformative impact on their campus community and their unwavering service to the mission of Jesuit higher education.
Requirements
Nominees must have worked for 2+ years in Jesuit student success.

The Magis Award for Excellence in Programming highlights exceptional campus-wide or departmental programs that demonstrate a profound commitment to Jesuit student success. These programs serve as models of innovation, assessment-driven improvement, and impactful engagement, reflecting the core values of Ignatian pedagogy in the realm of student affairs and academic support.
Requirements
Programs must showcase impact in Jesuit student success through program assessment, evaluation, and/or evidence of effectiveness.

This award recognizes tireless dedication to community work, advocacy, and service-learning initiatives that bridge the gap between campus and community, fostering a deep sense of social responsibility and civic engagement among students within the Jesuit student success framework.
